"If they had any dignity they would use an airsick bag or if they knew every time they fly they get sick, then they would not fly."
I think you're average person very much opts for the airsick bag, but sometimes it happens before you can get the thing out and ready.
so if someone got sick every time they rode in a car, you'd tell them they should just walk everywhere they need to go? I'm sure they intentionally get sick just to inconvenience you.
I'm sure if you're average airliner had 80% or more of it's window's covered up, you'd see a lot more people getting sick more often. All that motion going on that the inner ear is sensing, but the eye's see no movement.
I friends of mine that are pilots that still get sick from time to time, should they stop flying? I have a buddy that almost washed out of flight school in the Marines because he kept getting sick, now he's flying CH
-46's and doing quite well.
As for myself, I've experienced having people around me get sick, as well as getting rather nauseated myself.
Anyways, if you see someone near you getting sick and you don't want to see what they had for lunch again, suggest they look out a window at the horizon, it works wonders. Doing that kept me from filling a few bags in the back seat of a T-38 in the pattern once.
