I am currently in planning stages for my winter trip to NYC in November.
Usually when travelling to the US I would not even need to hesitate and book with my trip with US Airways. I am how ever a little jittery about booking so far in advance with their current economic situation.
I am on budget and at the moment there are some fantastic offers about for travel to NYC in November. I am looking to spend under 250 GBP including all taxes.
This may sound shallow and I don't care if some of you slag me off, but IFE, Comfortable Seating and Leg Room is important to me and US Airways offer all this on their A330's.
I absolutely detest flying from LHR
with high prices of parking, congestion and generally been like a cattle market. I live in Northamptonshire and always fly to the US from LGW
, however if I could fly from BHX
would be great due to been so close, but have ruled out Continental cause of the 752's. Would definately consider MAN
as no further to get to than LGW
I am more than happy to take a connecting flight!
Could you let me know of your experiences and who you would recommend. Especially be interested in hearing about BA
as I always hear people saying how bad there leg room is in Economy compared to the US carriers.
Currently I have checked ThomasCook.com and they offered:
211 GBP - US Airways - 18/11 LGW
221 GBP - American - 18/11 LGW
227 GBP - Continental - 18/11 LGW
268 GBP - Aer Lingus - 18/11 BHX
