If You Could Run Your Airlines What Would It Be

Sat May 29, 2004 12:01 pm

Ok, this hasn't been discussed in a little while and I always find it interesting to see people's dreams for a better commercial aviation world. Just list like your airline's name & fleet (whether it is a real airline or not). Mine would be the reincarnation of AirUK and that is after a big takeover of BA. Haha BA, take that! LOL. Anyways:

Boeing 717 w/winglets (hehe, one can dream can't they?) (50)
Boeing 7E7 Dreamliner (30)
Boeing 737-900X (50)
Boeing 737-700 w/winglets (50)
Boeing 757-300 w/winglets (65)
Boeing 777-200LR (30)
Boeing 747 Advanced (50)

It would fly to Europe, Middle East, Asia, Eurasia, North & South America, Caribbean, Austral Pacific, etc. (pretty much anywhere it is possible to fly) and it would be the first airline to start services to the new Baghdad International.  Smile/happy/getting dizzy It would operate out of London Heathrow. We would offer three classes: Royal (first), Premier (Business), and Pleasure (economy). We would offer any variety of food. And our flight attendants would give Braniff's old f/a's in the 70s a run for their money! Our prices would be comparable to any other intercontinental European airline! Our IFE would consist of PTVs in everyseat. And we would have those private suites in Royal Class like EK has in their first (except ours would be a little different looking).  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

There would also be AirUKXpress which would operate the following:

CRJ-200ER (50)
Dornier 728JET (50)

It would operate local European routes from it's London Heathrow base.

We would also take over Virgin Atlantic and give it a sexier corporate make over!  Smile/happy/getting dizzy (yes we CAN make it a little sexier!)

Anyways, go crazy and tell me your fantasy airline. I am interested to hear about them!  Smile/happy/getting dizzy
