My choice would have to be ASA. Unfortunately, I fly them quite regularly from GPT
(and return). They operate this route normally with a CJ
and the flight is around an hour give or take. While this is a one-class flight and they claim to offer beverage service, it sometimes doesn't work out that way.
I have been on several of these flights where the lone flight attendent has served to first six or seven rows and then stops. I have even been on a flight where the FA
just sat on her jumpseat infront of the cockpit door and did her nails for most of the flight. Beverage service didn't start until the decent into ATL
, and stopped after less than half the cabin was served.
I have also seen however, where there were two beverages served by a very attentive FA
. Normally you can consider yourself fortunate to recieve even one, especially when sitting in the back of the aircraft. Good service and an attentive FA
are unfortunately the exception rather than the rule at ASA.
