What do you think the most underrated airline. I believe it is U.S. Airways. I don't think many people give them the credit they deserve for serving all of the east coast and serving many small cities with a large regional network as well as coast to coast service, good fleet, and good service.
"Air New Zealand have the best crew"
Here Here, I agree. Call me biased on this one
NZ is underrated yes, and in my opinion so is QF. What about the airlines that are overrated? IN my opinion, SQ is way overated and I hear EK is the same.
In terms of service: bmi. OK, nobody can fathom out their business strategy but their product is excellent and I've heard nothing but rave reviews regarding their transatlantic services.
In terms of punctuality and value for money: Ryanair. We hear so much here on A.Net about what cheapskates they are, but they are superb at what they aim to do: enable millions of people to travel around Europe cheaply (if booked in advance), reliably and safely.
AirTran. I have been flying them since the pre-ValuJet days. They have done a great job...just wish Biz Class was a bit more...but for the price...can't expect all that! I racked up a bit over 100 credits in the last year, seems Concourse C was my friend.
The sad thing is, I love DAL, but they just won't match prices on last minute trips. If they would, might help their survival.
