BA has had a variety of different liveries, as shown above, but which is your favourite of all time? Please note that the entry for the world livery is just an example; if you prefer another type, submit it. My favourite would have to be the Union Jack version!

Out of the World Tails, I really like the Delftblau Daybreak c/s. I have a model 777 in that c/s on my desk  Big thumbs up

Luckily it still flies on B763 G-BZHB

Horus -

I agree with you, all except for the nose. That black nose that BA has on some 757 and 767s just kills the whole thing! I mean serious.. why have a black ring there? Makes no sense to me..  Confused

My favourite BA livery is the Concorde adaptation of the Landor scheme. I think the pearl grey on the subsonic fleet looked quite drab, but Concorde looked very elegant in clean white complimented by the Speedwing red dash and the "TO FLY, TO SERVE" emblem on the tail.

The "Russian" tail on B733 G-XMAN, I am new to posting threads so I dont know how to post a pic of it. Come to think of it, all my pics are a bit naff of this bird. Its my most flown plane and two jump-seat landings.

Has anyone got a good pic of it?

Cheers folks, Steve.

You are a star, cheers mate. I will also agree the Chelsea Rose was a great tail as described by EZYairbus earlier.

Take care buddy, Steve.

IMO, I think that the black ring around the noses of the 737s and 757s look good on them. I'd love it if they'd add it to all of their aircraft.  Smile

Although you're all probably wondering why I chose the name Ndebele. Well they were kinda nice too.

Although the Union Flag scheme is pretty nice too.

It has to be the latest one by far. Sleek, professional, and just commands attention. Yesterday while I was spotting at a great location at PHX, that livery just commanded the attention of everyone in the airport.

I think the Delftblau Day break was a fantastic colour scheme.

It was such a shame that the World Colours were axed. I loved the concept.

BA always had excellent colourschemes, and all had their own right in their time. I liked the Landor scheme very much, this is one of the best aircraft decorations ever and a true classic. And I also like the Chelsea Rose. Wouldn´t that have been the better "English" standard design as opposed to the more "normal" Union flag stripes? Sad its gone.

I personally find that the RendezVous looks the most elegant. It's a real pity that BA decided to axe the world tails, now all their planes are IMHO really boring to look at.

Well, I still don't understand Chelsea Rose... It looks like a bunch of scribbles from a far. I still prefer the current Union Jack and Landor the best. Rendezvous is nice, but it's not British to me, same goes for the other world tails.
