What Airlines Do You Think Would Be A Good Merger?

Wed Aug 18, 2004 12:40 am

Sorry guys, just got off work when we landed in Detroit-Metro. My new job with Northwest is so much fun! Just curious. What airlines do you think would be a good merger.

Delta and AA, but I hope to God this will never happen! Both airlines have similiar route structures as well as similiar fleets and they are the 2 best airlines in the USA.

AA300B:
Finnair-SAS

I hope to good that this will happen too... That could make it one of the strongest airlines in Europe.
But if it happens I wonder how it will look like if it will be like AF/KLM.

But unfortunatly Finnair has no interest in this proposal. I know SAS CEO Lindegaard has proposed it some times.

Haha, I knew that was coming. Southwest and Airtran would also be very good in reference to both airlines being LCC's, and getting more 737's and 717's. I would keep the Airtran name and the colors though.
