First off... the ATR leg room is fine... I'm 6'1" and didn't get cramped on a full MSN
flight on one last year (1-1/2 hour flight)... You won't have a problem with that. I've only flown AA
once, and I think I had the best experience I've ever had with regards to customer service/punctuality.
When I got to STL
(My flights were MSN
) I was kinda looking at a 757 at the gate next to mine and one of the pilots came over and we started talking about it for a while before he had to go. One of the gate agents (who the pilot was friends with, the way it seemed) came over and talked with us for a while.....
was awesome. I got off my flight and looked at the screen, and found a flight leaving 2 hours early to my destination leaving out of the gate I just came off of. I asked the ticket-agent at the gate if there was any availability for me to get on that flight... She pulled up my info, found that I had just came off that plane, and said sure and got me on to MSN
two hours early. She warned me that my bags might not make the flight (good marks for atleast warning me of this) and I told her don't worry about it, because I work on the MSN
airfield, so I wouldn't be too worried about it. She smiled and gave me my new boarding pass for the earlier flight and I was on my way...
overall has good people, no matter what station you are at (so it seems) and the people should be great. The aircraft are also in relatively good shape, so don't worry about that. BTW... my bags got on the earlier flight.
Hey Obama, keep the change! I want my dollar back.
