My next flight is down to IAH on standby with CO. My uncle flies for CO and has given me a ticket to go down there and see all the behind the scenes workings of an airport/airline. We will be seeing;
1 Flight Opps Room
2 Control Tower
3 Maintnance Hangers (get some good close up pics for A,net)
4 Flight Simulation Department (He's hinting i might be able to fly a sim...)
5 Sneek into some acft waiting at the gate (good cockpit shots)
6 Desplay a little teenage aviation enthusiasm to his 12 year olds...  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

I'll be happy to write a report of what i see if anyone wants me too, i'll also try to upload all 90 pics i can take with my digital camera...  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

My girlfriend and I are flying to LAS on WN on 11/7 and returning on 11/9. This will be the first time I've flown on WN in nine years. No, we're not getting hitched. We're just getting away from PHX for a couple days. I'm looking forward to it.

Probably in November, I'll be flying down to Juneau for a day or two. Although if the difference in fares isn't that great, I'll go further down to Ketchikan. I'm 900 miles away from MVP with Alaska Airlines and I really want to experience the multi stop flight between ANC and SEA, just not all the way down to SEA. By the way, this will be my yearly Alaska Permanent Fund present to myself.

After some hard decision making between going to San Diego or San Antonio we finally chose SAT on AA.

    On October 28th-

    MKE-DFW: American Eagle erj-145
    DFW-SAT: American Md-80

    SAT-STL: American connection rj-140
    STL-MKE: American connection rj-140

An exciting trip for me because I have never been to SAT or STL, and never flown on a rj-140
Avoid the Chicago ORDeal!! Fly MKE!

This morning I booked a day trip FAI-ANC because Alaska Airlines had a web special.

    Oct 9: FAI-ANC Alaska 737-400
    Oct 9: ANC-FAI Alaska 737-200

And happy me, I'll get my free ticket and MVP status with that little flight. And I'll be able to go shopping at a real mall.
