Anyone Here Work For An Airline?

Mon Oct 18, 2004 7:17 am

I was wondering from all these posts, do any of you really work for an airline?
Your all wonderful and I love reading your post but I was feeling a little singled out here.

Me, yes, I fly for Continental. How about you?  Smile

I did, albeit briefly, work for Eastern Airways until the end of 2003 in the Crewing Department at their HQ at Humberside Airport. Sadly, circumstances forced me to relocate and leave the most enjoyable job of my life.  Crying

Fond memories forever.

Sort of...

Reservations/Call Center Supervisor, TACA Int'l.
The service is provided by an independent company, however, so I don't get to enjoy all the benefits of an airline employee (1 ID90 ticket yearly... is that fair?)  Sad

But I enjoy my work!  Smile
Don't expect to see me around that much (if at all) -- the contact link should still work, though.

I work for BA CitiExpress Engineering on the Isle of Man in the Maintenance Planning dept. Formerly a Mechanic on the shop floor with Manx Airlines, and 23 years with the Royal Air Force before that (not quite an airline but close!). And, to cap that, I worked for BUA and BCAL before joining up (For a trade)

I started as a Customer Service Agent in ORD for Air Wisconsin/United Express about a year and a half ago, and am now training new Air Wisconsin rampers for O'Hare, and United/UAX loadplanners from all over the country - It is great fun, and I get to visit airports all over North America!
