Don't want to complain about Air India, I know that they seem to be getting some good reviews these days, but the filthiest plane I've ever flown on was an Air India 747 LHR
back in 1988. The cabin was just about acceptable, but don't get me started on the toilets...unfit for human use. I understand that my flight was a continuation of a flight from either Delhi or Mumbai, but honestly, what on earth were people doing in there on the India - LHR
And just last weekend I flew Ryanair STN
on one of their new(ish) 737-800's. I had an exit row seat where the table folds out of the arm of your seat. Basically the thing was unusable as it sloped down at quite an angle meaning that everything slipped off into your lap, so good job I only had a vodka and coke and not a meal (not that I had the choice)! Other than that, it wasn't too bad.
