KLM 767 Retirements, On Which One Have You Flown?

Sat Nov 13, 2004 1:27 pm

As all of yuo know, KLM is retiring its 767s.
Here a list of them:
PH-BZA "Blawbrug" Retiring: 04/05
PH-BZB "Pont Neuf" 09/05
PH-BZC "Brooklyn Bridge" 12/05
PH-BZE "Ponte Rialto" 3/06
PH-BZD "King Hussein Bridge" 4/06
PH-BZF "Golden gate Bridge" 5/06
PH-BZG "Erasmusbrug" 11/06
PH-BZH "Tower Bridge" 1/07
PH-BZI "Bosporus Bridge" 2/07
PH-BZO "Karmsundbrug" 3/07
PH-BZM "Ponte Garibaldi" 3/07
PH-BZK "Zeelandbrug" 4/07

Pretty sad, a lot of nostalgia. I personally have flown on "Brooklyn Bridge", "Golden gate Bridge", "Erasmusbrug", "Tower Bridge" and "Zeelandbrud". Actually, on "Zeealandbrug" I made 4 flights.
On what 767 of KLM have you flown?(of course, if you remember) What was your experience?
Regards,
Adam
PS: I´m using MauriceB info (retiring dates) he posted in the "KLM 767 Retiring dates", just saying the bibliography!

When does KLM plan to retire all of their 767s by? Where will they be parted out? Or will they find salvation with other airlines?

Pont Neuf a few times, it seemed to come to CCS often. Pity they retired the MD-11 from that route and even worse they don't come at all now.
When in Paris my kids asked why the bridge was called after KLM767!
I wish that all skies were orange and blue!!

I've flown on PH-BZB "Pont Neuf" last September, an early morning flight AMS-LHR.

KL428 on DEC22, 2002 from DXB to AMS was a 763.
The flight was scheduled to leave at 1.15am and after all the passengers boarded the a/c the Captain announced that there was an electrical problem and the engineer was trouble shooting. After 1 hour we were asked to get off the a/c. Some more time for me (DXB was my transit) to watch the Emirates Stewardesses. Finally the problem was fixed and we took off at 5.30am. and reached AMS safely to find the KL691(744) delayed by 3 hours.

Is there any way to find the a/c registrations of those flights now?

Thanks

SF
