John,

Checkout what EK did with First and Business on their A345's and you be the judge.

(follow "Traveller Info"/"In the Air"/ A340-500

QF, SQ and (if they opt for it) BA would continue their current First and J class products, with some First enhancements. Some others will be totally volume focused, as seems to have been discussed on the forum in relation to AF's proposed configuration.

When all's said and done, there'll be more said than done.

I think that VS may have something to brag about.

QF, SQ and (if they opt for it) BA would continue their current First and J class products

Ozglobal QF has in fact stated that they will be introducing a new Y and F product in 2006, however are keeping it top secret due to fear that EK and SQ will follow suit. This was announced by QF when the yearly profit was announced. By the sounds of it it should be good, well actually they havent said anything about it, but keeping it secret means its gotta be good! right?

SQ is my bet. They have already announced they will only have 450 seats in the 380 while EK has pegged the figure at a much higher number. From what I have heard, SQ is going to concentrate on the premium cabins but there will be a significant upgrade in Y.

Currently in Singapore, SQ is previewing the C and F seats for the 380 to select premium customers.

Prob depends on class of travel.....

I would also guess that Singapore will offer the best Y/Y+. The 345 Leadership or whatever they are calling it this week was a good indicator that they are prepared to really push the boat out.

If EK's 3-4-3 on the 777 is anything to go by, then I am concerned about the Y product on the 380, although they will probably have a great F product (see their 345.

VS will prob have the best J product (assuming it is even better than UCS).
