Prop: Dash 8 (-200 to be more specific), fun little planes, my preference might have more to do with QX than with the plane itself

Jet: Bae 146, one of the most comfortable rides I've been on.

Fairchild Do328/428 Jet - it's a real pity they never made it. Skyway still has a handful of them and they are fantastic. 'friad I'm no fan of the ERJs - talk about sardine cans! Havn't seen the 170 yet though.

Definitely the Saab 2000, because of the comfortable, silent cabin. More airlines should have chosen the Saab 2000, but it was basically the CRJ/ERJ hype against which the Saab 2000 lost. What I find sad is that most passengers still prefer the CRJ/ERJ over a prop like the Saab 2000, they don't seem to care about comfort as long as they get their jet-powered aircraft.

For looks and performance I like the 146's/RJ's, but the CRJ's look nice too.
Out of the ones I've flow I prefer the Dash8-300, very quick acceleration, especially with a light load Big thumbs up

I have to be a little biased and say the ERJ as COEX, but I also like the CRJ700 and CRJ900...very sharp aircraft.

It just has to be a Jungle Jet! They look Fantastic (esp in new United Colours), i love the solo seat (On the 145 this is), and they are great value! I'd love to have a legacy!

However, 146's/Avros i think look great and i'd love to fly in one

1. Dash 8 400
2. Dash 8 200
3. ERJ-145 (wish I saw some here!)
4. CRJ-700 (ditto)

See too many of these: EMB 120s, CRJ-200 (OO)
Hate: Dornier 328, Avro, Beech 1900

Definitely the ERJ145. I've flown on that one and the CRJ200, found the latter to be a sardine can. But the 145 was comfortable, I had a bunch of room to stretch out.

And I've flown on WAY too many Dash-8's. I hate those things.

Every time I take a flight on an ERJ, especially the 145, I just love it. They are perfect jets for connections from here at CMH to ORD, EWR, PHL, or anywhere else nearby. They also make for a great nonstop to LGA, BOS or DCA to mention a few. I love the all-leather seating as well as the 1-2 configuration. Great plane!!!

Therefore.... the ERJ-145 wins!!!!
It's funny when I tell people I love planes and they think I'm weird.

Flew the F70 numerous times, and it's a very comfortable aircraft, quiet and a spacious cabin (the 2-2 cabins of competitor RJ's are a bit cramped).

I love ERJ aircrafts. They're comfortable and relatively quiet. And not cramped at all considering the size of the airplane. I also like the Dash8.

Since I'm an Adria Airways frequent flyer I often get to fly on their CRJ-200's. Just hate them. They seem so narrow and cramped.  Angry

Favourite prop has to be the Dash-8 Q400 - quiet and quick.

Favourite jet, not sure. ERJ145 is far too flimsy, the 146 used on the regular LGW route from here is old and decrepit, not a good advert! Still, the RJ 100 is about the best I think.

The EMB-120 gets no love here, despite the many in service. I have never flown on one. I like the CRJ-200 series for looks, and smoothness in flight, and the sounds of the engines in flight.
The ATR hasn't gotten much love here either, but I like that aircraft. Noisy turboprops, high wing, and VERY roomy interior makes for a fun short hop.

I have always been a fan of the BAe-146. This may be a biased opinion since ZW is the only one that flies them for United Express. The interior is just as comfortable as a 737, and I have had the pleasure of flying one from ORD to as far as RDU, and as close as MKE - a 15 minute flight!
