I am sorry but I still think that A380 doesn't look as good as 747 ....

Emre.....naptin?!

you're gonna start another A vs B thread  Smile

Don't be sorry, that's how you feel. I think the A340-500 looks the best  Smile

I agree, but it's a different aircraft and I'm sure it will look better as time goes on and we get used to it.

To me, it looks too short for its height and width, but the stretched versions will look much better when they arrive.

i totally agree, thats what ive been thinkin the whole time...lol. but it will look better when painted in the full livery of an airline and it is shown taking off or landing. any plane just sitting there never really looks that great, planes look best when in action!  Big thumbs up

like airbus had you in mind when they designed it, it's purpose is to move large numbers of people of large distances at any one time, it's not there for it's beauty or lack of it!  Big grin

well it may not be a major issue, but i think the airline looks at the appearance of the plane at least. no major plane manufacturer has made a VERY ugly plane but i think looks count in some certain aspects.....right??

At first I was not fond of it, but after roll out, it is an impressive aircraft.

Can't wait to see it fly..................

I remember when I first saw the 747 in 1969. I thought the thing was both ugly and could not believe it could fly. These are comments that are now used to describe the A380.

In time, the unique look of the 747 and its grace on takeoff and landing turned my opinion. I now love the look. I think a similar cycle will occur with the A380.

How could that thing fly? Sure is a stubbly looking nose? Then, look at that beauty fly.
