UA First Class, Whats It Like?

Thu Jan 27, 2005 7:34 am

Just curious as to what domestic first class is like on UA and how it differs from transcon and overseas first class.

Thanks

Aaron

Just like their business class but w/o legrests, and no ptv's. It's descent, but dont pay extra for it. I have only used miles to fly it. In fact im flying it to ahwaii i JUne, i cant wait!

Don't get your hopes up and think it'll be along the lines of Int. F. If you do you'll be sorely disappointed

I would suggest that you look at some trip reports. Here are some trip reports about UA domestic first class, which provide the best explanation of what to expect. UA has a pretty average domestic first class product for US carriers. It is no where near as nice as international service, but still pretty good.

Their domestic first class as said above is kinda dissapointing.. its pretty much a regular business class seat minus all the nice ammenities e.g. PTV, lumbar support, leg rest etc. its just a littl more cushion and more leg space..

NEVER pay for it.. just use miles....

Just rode it yesterday CID-MSY. The CRJ-7 wasn't bad, just a hair bigger than economy. The ride in the B735 was exactly that. Just a bigger seat, but the service was good and we even got lunch on the way down to MSY from ORD. Lunch wasn't that bad either, preatty good actually. I'll post more in trip reports when I get back on friday.
