Would like one, what kind would it be? VOR, NDB, rotating beacon, outer marker, approach lighting system, etc? Do you live under a crossroads in the sky? There's a VOR/DME about 1/8 mile from my house, so it gets quite busy up there.
I live about 1/2 mile from a CLE navaid (I think. I'm not a pilot so I don't know how to check on such things). It's nothing more than a small white building and a radio antenna. Jets on approach to 6R and 6L fly right by my house. It's so nice to be able to spot from my backyard.

I live between Tebby VOR and the outer marker for rwy 01L/R at ARN, so I see allmost every aircraft that arrives on the left base for rwy 01L/R. I can also see in the far distance aircraft on the right base for rwy 26, when they're passing Tebby VOR.
If your pictures aren’t good enough, you’re not close enough
Our house is in the approach path to now defunct military airport (LKHK) and not far from a test bomb range. MiG-21s blasting at low altitude was my wake-up call on many weekends in the 1980s.
There used to be some navigation facilty couple hundred meters from our house.
Can anyone of yoyguys post some pics of any nav-aids ? Am very curious to see one...
I can see a PAPI and REIL which are lights associated with a particular runway. An airport rotating beacon flashes green-white on the wall of my bedroom at night. I can see a VOR from the window behind me right now, but only with powerful binoculars.
I have a piece of the fresnel lens of one of the old lighted-airway beacons sitting on the shelf next to my desk.
Happiness is not seeing another trite Ste. Maarten photo all week long.
