64K Isn;t the best sit. you are looking right at the loo.

The seats to avoid on the upper deck are 60 & 64

I totally agree that 64A and 64K are the BEST seats on the upper deck. You get the benefit of the window and its extra space, but since you are at the last row of the cabin, you don't have to climb over anyone to get out.

I'd prefer the exit row and it's extra room Vs staring at people going to the loo.

The back end of the upper deck also gets more foot traffic than the front on longer flights.

Seatguru states that the best clubworld seats on the 744s have to be the 63 isle and 62 window.

NOTE that 62 is facing the rear (as are all window seats) well anyway here is the link

64K doesn't look right at the loo! It looks at the cubicle that is the loo but if you have the divider up you wouldn't know any different. 64A does have a similar benefit although the Raid The Larder tray is beside the end of the seat and if you have the divider down then you can feel like people are looking over at you

62K is the best seat on the upper deck. Put the divider up and the only person facing you is the FAs during takeoff and landing and you also benefit from having an exit row without the inconvenience of climbing over the neighbour. If you are in 62A then you have a decent seat since it is an exit row, however you do have the person in 63B facing you throughout the flight.

I wish people on here would actually fly Club World before making judgements on seats based on a quick look at seatexpert.com  Insane

BA99 is operated by the 777, it's usually planned to be the 3 class aircraft....no First Class. If so the best seat in the house is 3K. It is in the forward cabin, window seat, in front of the flight crew rest module, it's quiet and there is very little traffic up and down the aisle as once airborne the rest module is cordonned off. If they send a four class aircraft the above will not apply but First will not be used.
Hope this is helpfull.

Sometimes the First cabin is used on a three class when flight. A friend of mine got seats in First last week as a BA Gold flying back from MCO, as did my parents the week before flying both to and from UVF.

Sorry you are quite correct, however is is only used if the actually Club cabin is filled, then it will be used for over spill until completely full. that is company policy, wether it is always followed is a different matter.

on the 777, i don't think there i much diference between any of them, but on the 744, I personally like the forward downstairs cabin, with 12 d or g my fave.

flown club world many many times, in all configs. Try the upper deck if on a B744. It is a smaller cabin, and feels much less cramped than downstairs. I always sit in 62A, every time I fly BA club on the 744 - my personal favourite.

On the B777 I don't think it really matters - I prefer the window - rear facing seats, towards the back of the cabin, so I don't have to look at lots of other people. Also you can close the divider so you don't have to look at your seatmate, unless it is someone you're travelling with...

Cheeryguy

you are correct in that BA099 is a 3-class T7 flight. Anyway seat suggestions relating to upper deck won't apply.

Also, because someone says they prefer a particular seat, doesn't mean that you will. It is all down to the individual.
