I don't really like either aircraft, but if I had to choose I probably would pick the E70 or flip a coin.
Ok, perhaps I was harsh - - -
I prefer the E170.
No I don't "carry" a lot on board any CRJ - Gate Check is my Friend . . . but you must admit overhead, legroom, etc. exceed that of a CRJ45, 135, etc.
I had a CO
flight CLT-IAH in a CRJ once . . . .2 hours plus, even the F/A commented on hte "pre-flight -Safety Lecture' this is one of the longest CRJ flights in the industry, and we don't know why, but we'll make it the best we can". That young lady definitely exceeded the standard for CRJ service. I wrote the appropriate letter to CO
and friends on her excellent service.
I selected 2C. Aisle, bulhead, and it was an okay ride, for 2 hours 30 minutes plus. I mean, afterall, it WAS a CO
flght and I'm partial to CO
That said, it was a CRJ - and that is a short haul - read that 1:30 or less A/C. The F/A was fantastic, the flight uneventful, the seat, cramped. No one next to me or it would have been worse.
I wish that had been aboard a E170 . . . with F seats. I hazard to say, Sir, I would NOT have noticed a difference between that and COs 735 on that route.
Sir, I gave mine as quickly and with as much educated validation as you gave yours . . . .
Regards . . . .
