Those narrow bodies would dominate the bigger routes and ATRs and CRJs (let’s see some Embraers!) would handle the secondary/tertiary routes. I hope all ATR flights are kept short
The busy routes might see CRJs during off peak hours (a few of them) on shorter flights.
What I am waiting for is to see wide bodies on domestic routes. The Calcutta-BLR is an a300 on IC
(or was) I am sure there are others. I know that (on BOM-DEL for example), airlines need flights every 30 mins and would rather offer 3 737’s an hour rather than 2 767 (just saying) but in a few years we will see a few wide bodies on such flights.
