Airline With The Most Special Liveries

Fri Apr 15, 2005 9:05 am

Hi there

Which airline do you think has the most special liveries on their planes at any one time?

I reckon JAL is pretty much up there.

Cheers,
K

I'd say WN is up there as well.

HP's 757's baby! Themes are: "Ohio" "Arizona" "Nevada" "Diamondbacks" "Cardinals" "Teamwork"

Yes, go HP's 757s! I hope they keep "Ohio" scheme! You know CMH no longer HP "hub" ...

If one counts each animal tail as special; F9 would win hands down.

If that counts, then F9 has no "normal" liveries.  Smile

I still think Ryanair has the most:

I absolutely HATE ad plane so I pay no attention to those. I think it degrades the airline. At any rate: I think it would have to be HP, even though you will occasionally see a CO or BA roll-out in a special livery of some sort.

That's one of the reasons I like them so much, I never get bored of their liveries Big grin

The question wasn't whether you liked it or not, it was which airline has the most special liveries. I personally can't stand the cheesy ad planes either, but Ryanair has a whole lot of them in their fleet, more than the HP planes.

Actually I think the phrasing of the post is also up to interpretation. It could be read as "Which airline's special liveries are most special?" or also quantitatively, "Which airline has the greatest amount of special liveries?"

Due to the phrasing of the question, whichever answer you prefer to give would probably be adequate.

Haha, and after that, I am going to agree Ryanair has the highest number of special liveries but I also like HP's the best even though they really don't have THAT many.  Smile

WN has a few special schemes on there a/c. I found (14) total with the NBA Finals one being gone by now I'm sure.
