Continental...what To Expect

Sat May 07, 2005 4:34 am

Hey. I just booked FLL-BDL on song and EWR-FLL on CO on points from Delta (had to do CO because there were no BDL-FLL flights when we needed it and the connections were not available for points and LGA and JFK weren't good either)

So, I know about song, but what do I expect on CO. I'm on an INTERNATIONAL(!!!!) 752 and it says there is a snack. Seats are behind the wing, 24 or 25 maybe. Basically, what should I expect?

Don't get all worked up because it's an internationally-configured 752. Unless you're sitting in F, there's no difference between them.

I have traveled on a CO 752 transatlanticly, BHX-EWR-BHX! I found the seats very comfy! The entertainment is ok, but no PTV's in coach! I enjoyed my trip and hope you do to!

Have a look in the Trip Reports Forum to see about CO 752's!

Have you flown CO or the 757 before?

First time on CO. I wanted to see Gordon, but I guess I'll see that other guy instead. I'm interested in this "snack" they serve. I hear CO has good meals, but I got pretzals from FLL-LGA on AA, B6 serves chips, U5 serves a hot meal...so I don't know exactly what to expect here.

I have also flew EWR-SFO on a 752 Intl. config! I remember we were served by a hot meal and a snack (pretzals and peanuts)! Realy depends on the flight time and what time of day it is! CO is a great airline and you should enjoy the flight!

Maybe if your realy realy lucky you could even get a 757 with winglets!

Seats 24 or 25 are about 4 rows behind the wing, normal seats really, nothing special! If you can try and get seats on the right side of the plane (EWR-FLL)!

Expect a small meal ("snack"- but still 10x better than other airlines), friendly service, and a great ride on a beautiful CO 757!  Smile
