Mine was from FRA to JFK sometime in February/March 1982, on one of Lufthansa's B747s in First Class - my father's company paid the flight, because we were moving to the US after his transfer there for just under 3 years.

First international was also my very first flight, from LHR to MLA with Air Malta in 1987 when I was only a few months old. It was a family holiday with about 20 people, but nobody remembers which model of aircraft we flew on.

Mine was LGW-RTM on 12th March 1971, 2 days before my 18th birthday. I spent the weekend in Rotterdam and Amsterdam and flew home on Sunday evening RTM-LGW. Both flights were on BUA, BAC 1-11's, G-ASJC out and G-ASJH back.

For me it was SAL-MIA-JFK coming to the U.S.
First on Taca from SAL To MIA and than from MIA to JFK on Pan Am  tombstone
Back in 1983. Now what I don't remember is the type of ac that I flew on, the only thing I remember is that from MIA to JFK it was a widebody. But which one? a 747 perhaps?  scratchchin

Back in 1989. CPH-MAN-DUB in an old DC-9 as far as I recall. Four years old, glued to the window I'm told... Was a spotter ever since...

April 1988
LGW-MIA on CO (if that makes sense)

I know we were going to Florida but was only four at the time, my parents as haters of babies on aircraft thought it was rude to take babies onboard and since my brother wasn't much younger than me I had a long wait! They just went on holiday alone...nice! Thankfully they have made up for those four years of missed holidays in the previous 17

I could say that my first ever flight to GCI in 1979 was international as the Channel Islands are not part of the UK, but instead I'll say:

Well.. my first flight was actually AEP-MVD in a 732 but we don't consider that an Intl flight since both countries are WAY to close and there's basically no accent difference.

3-8-90, the day after Iraq invaded Kuwait. SYD-SIN with QANTAS (QF31) then SIN-CPH with SAS (SK970); both a/c were B767s. I still have the tickets, boarding passes etc. We knew a month in advance what seats we were allocated, times have changed haven't they?

SEA-YXY would be the first one out of the country. On A Pacific Northern DC6 if I remember correctly. Can't find a decent picture of XYX, nor of a PNA DC6. Sorry, it was 1959 . . . I can only recall being told about it . . .

Pan Am got us (me and the family) there and back in one piece on a 747 of sorts. IIRC, we all flew on Clipper Class b/c my dad had a truckload of miles to use.

Mine was in Feb. 1978-also my first flight. Probably Pan Am but I was too young to remember. From what I'm told, the flight was SEL-HNL-LAX-ORD. The flight arrived in the middle of the night during the worst blizzard Chicago had had in 25 years. My parents flew me home that same day on Delta ORD-ATL-CHA. The same storm system that had hit Chicago so hard was pounding the South and I'm told that there was too much snow on the ground at CHA for the car to make it all the way to the house.

My first international flight was in March 2004. It was the Delta flight from New York to Moscow (JFK-SVO). I loved every minute of it and was too excited to even sleep on the plane, lol I had to know every little thing that was going on even if it was nothing!

The aircraft dropped suddenly somewhere over the Gulf of Mexico. One passenger died and some others were injured. Will never forget that... Sad
