Make Your Dream Airline Here

Sun May 29, 2005 9:20 am

If you have ever dreamed on having an airline, this is the right post:
Make up your own airline, including name, base airport, livery, destination on each continent, fleet, with what airline your like to codeshare, in what alliance you like to be, and describe you product in general and prices.

My airline:

My airline would be called "Prague Air", blue/white/red livery with a photo of each of Prague´s attractions on the tail (sort of like F9 has with west animals). I would be based in PRG (duhhh) and fly long-hual only:

US: ORD, JFK, IAH, MIA, LAX and SFO.
Canada: YYZ, YVR
Latin America: GRU, GIG, MEX, CCS (maybe EZE as well)
Africa: CAI, JNB
Asia: HKG, ICN, PEK, NRT, BKK, SIN and KUL+continuation to SYD or MEL

My fleet would include B777-200/300s, B747-400s and possibly MD-11s and in the future, 787s

I would like to join SkyTeam and as extra, codeshare with UA, AC, TAM, MH, SQ and Qantas.

I would like to have a little (only like 5 seats) First Class with great service and superior meals (I would possibly cater from Marriot). Then a max.25 seat bussines class, with good meals great service and all what a good bussines class has. The rest would be economy, with superior services as many airlines today. The crew would be chosen by me personally to be specially good-looking and polite so passengers would feel happy. Meals would be superior as well. And AVOD would be offered in economy, as well as in bussines and First.

Prices:

Example: PRG-JFK-PRG: First- starting at USD 5000
Bussines: starting at USD 1500
Economy: starting at USD 600

I hope my dream and you dream of having our own airlines will become true one day.

Adam

My airline would be called after the country it is based. This country doen's exist but would have lots of oil fields and is very rich. Because of this I would've a big airline consisting of many many

A-319
A-320
A-321
A-330-200/-300
A-340-300/-500/-600
A-380 (ordered)
A-300F
A-310F

B 737-300/-400/-500 (soon to be phased out)
B 737-600/-700/-800/-900
B 747-400/-400ER/-400F/-400ERF
B 757-200/-300
B 767-300/-400/-300F
B 777-200ER/-200LR/-300/-300ER

MD-11/-11F

ATR-42/-72

CRJ-200/-700/-900

Don't know where the markts for those planes should be but in my dream they are there. All in all a high quality airline with aa high ammount of pax which were offered the world best First- Business- and Economy Class. And to fulfil my dream there will be two main airports in this country.

1. in the capital - very very big
2. in the second biggest city - very big and like Kai Tak
3. in the tourist area with Saint Maarten Style.

So, no wI'm going to bed to dream about my fictional country.

Georg.

My airline would be called Bling Express Airways

I would have a fleet of concordes and TU144's (apporximately 50) with ultra opulent interiors and ultra extortionate prices.

I would base these at SWS (I would make room by moving the sheep out) and would fly them to exotic destinations in Wales, like Tenby, Rhyl and Barry Island.

Oh I forgot to mention the livery, this of course would have to include the Welsh Flag and on the tail (A la Frontier) would be HRH Queen Catherine Zeta Jones or His Majesty Tom Jones.

Fly with Bling!

Wow , very interesting airlines ...

As for mine , the airline will be named after me !! Charles Ryan Airways

My target is to provide a good and healthy competition with Singapore Airlines. To bring comfort and joy for passengers and at a same time building profits for a better future for the company.

Type of fleet :

Boeing 737-700/-800 with winglets for regional routes and airports that can't handle widebodies or mediam haul routes that requires low capacity like PEN, KUL, CGK , XMN...etc

Airbus 330-200/-300 (On leased) for regional routes requires big capacity like HKG, BKK, PVG , PEK, DXB , NRT ..etc

Boeing 777-200ER/-300ER for long haul routes like SYD, LGW, LHR, FRA ...etc

Boeing 787-3 , -8/-9 will replace the leased A330-200/-300 in 2011.
Airliners is the wings of my life.

Taurus Air (No Bull!):

Hubs: Destinations
ALB: BOS, LAS, FLL, DFW, MSP, SAN, LAX, YUL
SAN: NRT, LGW, LAX, PDX, SEA, MEX, YYZ, DFW, ALB, FLL, HNL
LAX (focus city): NRT, HNL, FLL, SAN, ALB

Fleet: Number
737-600: 12 (regional/domestic)
757-200: 6 (domestic/Mexico/Canada)
A330-200: 8 (intercontinental/high-density domestic)

Would be a mix LCC/Full service, with the higher service on flights of 3.5 hours or longer, almost completely the realm of the 757s and A330s... Maybe I'm not as ambitious with mine as the others, but I'm satisfied with it...

I'd get a bunch of these and fly 'em to all the major international destinations...

If someone can figure out how to post the picture of the plane, that would be great, for some reason I can't get it to post as usual.

Quoting SE210Caravelle (Reply 34):
Subsidiaries: Aurdem American (serves inside the U.S. ans codeshares with SA)">UA) and Aurdem Elite Services (offers premium lights from LHr to our hubs)

I dunno what happened but it should read:

Subsidiaries: Aurdem American (serves inside the U.S. and codeshares with United Airlines) and Aurdem Elite Services (offers premium flights from LHR to our hubs)

Quoting SE210Caravelle (Reply 34):

Codeshares: BA, SA)">UA

Again another problem that should read (note there are no codeshares with South African Airways):

BA, United Airlines

Quoting SE210Caravelle (Reply 34):
Hubs (by order of traffic): LHR, HKG, JFK, LAT, SYD

Not LAT but LAX. FYI the hub with the most amount of traffic is first.

I gave very little info on the services I have and the seats for my airline so I will give very breif information.

All of my seats are leather and have lumbar supports and foot rests (even economy where the foot rest in on the seat behind you (see Singapore Airlines)). Everything is very modern, hip and sophisticated from the lavatories to the seatbacks in economy. My World Class seats are in a private suite that looks a lot nicer then EK's and is made of real walnut and glass. The rest of the seats carry this theme of dark stained wood and blue tinted glass. Details are of the importance and evrything you can imagine is carfted beautifully. Again any questions regarding anything, please contact me through my email in my profile.

Thanks.

As you can see I take this very, probably to seriously! lol

Boeing 767-400/ER

Boeing 777-200

Lockheed L-1011 TriStar

IFE: All aircraft would be retrofitted with In-Flight radio, as well as the option to listen to the ATC. All widebody aircraft would have computers in the back of every seat connected to the internet and also have XBOX, PS2, and over thousands of movies to choose from.

Cabin: All seats would be made of blue leather and the cabin bulkheads would be painted white to make the aircraft appear more spacious.
