All the boring ones are the world. Like Air Canada, American, United etc...

    jetblue - could be much more creative
    SA - Springbok - maybe because BOK means shit in turkish lol

    ANA - All Nippon (When spoken by pilots/atc in Japan it sounds like "oh-nee-poh")

    I definitely like the creative callsigns. They give character to the flights.

    I think these are excellent callsigns:

    MyTravel Airways UK - 'Kestrel'
    MyTravel Airways A/S - 'Viking'
    First Choice Airways - 'Jetset'
    Astraeus Airline - 'Flystar'
    British Airways - 'Speedbird' and 'Shuttle'

    The following are rubbish:

    Thomsonfly - 'Thomson' - how creative!
    Ryanair - 'Ryanair'
    Thomas Cook - 'Topjet' - 'Globe' was much better

    It comes from their original routes when they were call Resort Air. They served a loy of lake destinations in the Ozarks. There is a reason for everything.

    Novair (Navigator) is good, i also like Air Wales and it's "Red Dragon". BA and Speedbird takes home the prize for best callsign for an global airline.

    Is it North American that goes by "Red Rock"?

    They go by "North American"

    "Red Rock" was used by the defunct LAS-based incarnation of National Airlines. Their callsign comes from Red Rock Canyon, which is just outside of Las Vegas.
