I think given that DL
returns to profitability, they would be best served by replacing the 762/763/764/777 with the 787. This would save money in terms of maintenance and training and all sorts of other things.
If routes like ATL
need more capacity, they can increase the frequencies. For instance, ATL
is 4x daily with the 763.
needs to do something about its international fleet. The 763 is very comfortable from a passenger standpoint, but these planes need to be made-over with PTVs, better seats, redesigned BizElite, etc.
