Going To TGU

Tue Jun 28, 2005 2:05 pm

First off I don't know if this is in the right place for this so if it is not please tell me so I can get rid of it. This friday the 1st, I am going to Tegucigalpa, Honduras (TGU/MHTG). I have seen pictures and I know this is going to be a fun airport to go to. What can I expect and do they always land on runway 1.
Any comments, info, or anything else is appreciated.

Phx-
In case you haven't, take a look at this old thread. It provides some info about this airport. By the way, I landed once in TGU in 1994... to this day, that still is the best landing ever!! So fasten your seatbelt, you are in for a bumpy ride! Enjoy!

Enjoy your trip.

TGU is one of most "difficult" airports in the area, but is safe. So relax, and have a safe trip!

By the way, they will be improving the runway soon.
