I'm going to be attending GeorgiaTech in the coming weeks, and was considering applying for a part-time ramp job with AirTran during my second semester. The airport is a 20 minute ride on MARTA from campus, so getting there isn't a problem. I won't know if I can realistically do this until I know my full schedule, but if anyone on these boards works for FL
, what's it like? I'm not too concerned about pay, I'm more interested in the airline aspect, environment, attitude, etc. I'm majoring in aerospace engineering, so I figured any experience in something that involves aircraft would probably benefit me, even if only a little.
