What's Your Favorite Special Livery?

Wed Aug 24, 2005 1:32 pm

Sorry if this has been discussed millions of times before, but I was just curious as to what special airline liveries people like the best. Give like your top 2 or 3.

Mine are:
1) CX "Asia's world City" livery
2) QF "Wunala Dreaming" livery

I like all 4 of NZ's Lord of the Rings aircraft. I don't like the movies though. NZ's All Blacks livery for the 1999 Rugby World cup was quite nice too.
Also I like the QF Formula 1 744 and the Alitalia Mcdonalds MD80. And who can forget AF and the PEPSI concorde.

I love DL's "Soaring Spirit" plane (which I got to fly on, but not with the special livery; there is just a small emblem on the front proclaiming its identity):

2) Malaysia Airlines Hibiscus

3) The Gulf Air shown above

4) Boeing's new colorscheme

5) Qantas Nalanji (I think that's the spelling) livery

I've seen both of them at the airport and they look nice. New Mexico One paint doesn't look that special but if you see it in real life it looks very good.

Don't expect to see me around that much (if at all) -- the contact link should still work, though.

You have to click on the link above Spell Check and Post the Message. It has the tutorials on how to do these things.
