for an extra £15 over Economy where you get a cup of juice - its well worth it!

Interesting replies on here which is not unappreciated but please read my questions more carefully. I am more interested in whether people here think SQ offers as good a service on the short 50min hop from Singapore to KL and back - ie...

am not a corporate flyer and pay to travel from personal expenses several times a year. Given that you work for SQ - pretty much underlines why passengers like myself think MAS, IN FACT is - "light years ahead" of SQ. Its the poor superiority complex of SQ that lets it down consistently - something SQ cannot seem to accept, realise and do something about.

MAS in my search seems to have better lounges at both ends, better food and most of all (from searching through FlyerTalk, Skytrax and Airlinemeals.net) better service. Cabin Layout? - even I would agree that for the the 50mins - that is hardly a plus point.

Okay - I think I'm going to have to go with MH on this one. Seems like a larger "suite" than SQ. I've also heard very good things about their service... maybe you can look in the trip reports forum to get some actual experiences though.

thanks - nice to see some better and more constructive comments here. MAS 734s are alright. I regularly fly BA, KL and AF 737s around Europe and for the fares in Club over here - MAS' 734 seem luxurious in comparison.
