Best Seats In Y On QF 743?

Sat Aug 27, 2005 7:27 am

I am planning to book a tkt NRT-SYD-NRT on QF for travel next month...in coach/economy (Y)...on a 743.

I am 6'5". What seat(s) should I go for - there seem to be plenty available on the seat map??

Given it is a "red-eye" each way, I am expecting almost no service, but it would be nice to not get DVT...

Thx.....DBC

Chech out www.seatguru.com

The seating information should be very much the same for the Y cabin if you choose those seats in the rear of the aircraft. The rows at the rear where the A and K seats are missing give you room to stretch your legs down the side of the seat in front.

Go for the window seats in the last four rows or so where the fuselage tapers. You'll only have one other person on your side of the aisle, and as the other guy said, you'll have more room and more room to stretch out. I had those seats a couple weeks ago and it was great, on the way down I had the whole row to myself...even better.

QF should give you pretty good service.

I was flying the route last December on the QF743. I got an aile seat.
Most airlines fill their aircrafts from front to the back but the check-in agent told me, that the flight had some groups places in the rear section of the aircraft.

I got 39F and had the whole middle row for my self. I slept the entire flight ...

Service was ok and the whole thing depends on the load of the acft as well.

enjoy your flt!
