Two gates share one exit, so the first exit is gates 1 and 2, the second is gates 3 and 4 etc.
Odd gates mean that your plane is standing at the terminal and that passengers walk across the tarmac to board it (if it's not raining), even gate numbers mean that the plane is parked remotely and the passengers are brought there by buses (usually regional planes stand there).
11 in the main domestic terminal. (10 jetways and a regional gate that has like 10 parking spaces for turboprops)
9 in the international terminal. (all jetways)
8 in the Puente Aereo terminal which serves all Avianca mainline domestic flights. (all are ground-level gates)
10 Intl gates with airbridges
23 Intl remote gates
29 domestic gates, of which 6 have airbridges
9 GA gates...
That's roughly of course. Most of the Intl remote gates never see any aircraft except on layovers occasionally.

I'm impressed!! I thought the IOM would be bottom of the league for gates. Although we desparately need more with the increase in traffic here. It's a nightmare when you have 2 or more flights leaving from the same gate - recipe for disaster I think.
CVT has two doors out to tarmac so I suppose it has two gates? there is no bussing as you walk. When you arrive just walk to the baggage claim, 1 belt. I suppose they could atually unload the bags and let you get your own!!Checkin is equally interesting No belt just a load of large trolleys for the flights Hand worked. No wonder they need a baggae weight limit!
I think FAI has 8 gates. At least the numbers go up to 8 (or is it 7?). 5 are upstairs with jet bridges, the other 3 (maybe 2) are downstairs and are just doors out to the tarmac. I've never seen more than 3 jetways in use at one time though. And one gate (Gate 6) I've never seen used at all.
Many arriving flights don't use any of these gates for disembarking. They park on remote stands and the passengers are taken to the terminals by bus and dropped right in front of the arrivals halls' entrances, so there's not any gate being used in this case.
There are 6 arrivals halls across the airport with a total 32 baggage belts.
The current airport complex has a total of about 160 aircraft parking positions.
The new terminals will add another 84 gates, bringing the total to 169 gates and the total aircraft parking positions will be about 244.
My hometown's (Bandar Lampung, Indonesia) airport, Branti (TKG), has only one gate. Passengers walk from the terminal to board the aircraft. Currently it has only one destination for scheduled flights: CGK, served by three airlines: MZ, Sriwijaya Air, and Adam Air
