Just Booked My First Flight On CO

Sat Dec 10, 2005 7:17 am

After 4 years of flying only AA, I flew HP for the first time back in July and now it is CO for the first time in January. Here is my itinerary:

05JAN06 CO2060 IAH-BHM

WHat does the snack mean, this is the early morning departure from COS, 6:30 am. What should I expect in terms of aircraft, it looks like a ERJ145 with a 1-2 configuration how small is it? I flew CRJ with HP how much bigger are they than CO. I got about 1 hour in IAH but I believe it is enough time since it is all in terminal B, hopefully someone can confirm

Welcome to your first flight on CO! Anyways, "snack" early in the morning on an RJ usually includes a muffin or something similarly sized. I can't remember what else comes with it, as they change it around sometimes. Add some coffee and you are on your way  Wink Often on longer CO RJ flights, the F/A will do more than one beverage service during the flight. At least I have found this to be the case on EWR-MSP runs.

I like the dimensions of the ERJ better than the CRJ - if you get an "A" seat, you have a single seat which is both a window and an aisle, all to yourself. Try and request an "A" seat and I think you will be pleased. B and C are together in the 1-2 setup.

Congrats on your first CO ticket......I trust your experience will be good. Snack on an RJ early morning flight, as mentioned earlier small muffin about a bite and a 1/2, couple of drinks from the F/A. If you can get it the best seats are row 12 of the E145, lots of leg room as it is the emergency row but they normally reserve for OnePass Platinum Elite folks just like 1A is, either is check at the airport for either of those 4 seats....1A, 12A, 12B or C.

IAH arrival around 920ish AM should have lots of CO aircraft about to push for the westbound and northbound banks.....keep the camera out never know what you might see, even on short final if landing west for 26L passing over the east cargo ramp.
