I don´t think its appropiate to make fun of this incident, since a person (a children) was killed.
Fair enough. Seeing as this forum is not making fun of the child that was killed in the incident, I don't think you have a case at all. If you were so devastatingly offended by these captions and felt you were personally being "attacked", try complaining to one of the guys that runs this joint. They'll probably tell you to be quiet and get a life, but that is out of our control.
If you came to this forum and knew that these captions were going to be about this incident and that they were going to appeal as being funny to most people, why bother writing anything? It is a waste of your (and our) time. It's a waste of your time because you could be doing something more productive such as writing a post in the forum "Nothing is funny. A.net is not allowed to post images of aviation accidents. People are not allowed to comment on aviation accidents." Im sure there's one out there.

Cudos..... it is not appropiate to poke fun at a situation where people died... especially a six year old.. Maybe if there was no deaths it would be a funny human error... but there was... so I personnally believe that this should not be here!
Wrightbrothers sums it up extremely nicely. Every 14 seconds, a child dies of hunger in Africa. Every few months, a child dies due to an aviation accident. You are really comparing Cessna's to Gulfstreams (little aviation joke).
True. Some people do need to lighten up. Im starting to seem turned off this site by the amount of people that feel we are crossing some invisible boundary. It's like this is all the darn forums!
couldn't have said it better myself!
In the meantime...try to enjoy your trip to a.net and dont try to make every forum topic seem like it's some competition for people to point out how offensive something is.
"If it aint boeing, it aint going!", "Friends are like condoms...they protect you when things get hard!"
