What Is Your FF Program And Elite Status?

Thu Dec 15, 2005 6:21 pm

Represent the FF program you are apart and your elite level(if any).

I'm an AAdvantage member! With only 2,000 miles so far!

I'm a member of UA Mileage Plus, I think I have about 22000 miles racked up at the moment. Not sure about my total amount of earned miles however.

Cheers

Sure, we're concerned for our lives. Just not as concerned as saving 9 bucks on a roundtrip to Ft. Myers.

Delta SkyMiles Gold Medallion for the past couple of years. I just keep falling short of Platinum Medallion which I guess isn't a bad thing. I've got 130K miles in the account right now but I had cashed in 200K earlier in the year for 2 tickets to LHR on VS.

Qantas Gold FF, with 71,000 points. Higher is Platinum, but I won't get there.

I am Flying Blue Silver member until the end of 2006. After that I will look for another SkyTeam FFP because Flying Blue almost sucks as much as Shithansa's Miles&Less does.

BA Silver (OW Sapphire) - valid thru Feb 07
LH Senator (Star Allaince Gold) - valid thru Feb 07
BD Silver (Star Alliance Silver) - valid thru March 06

BD will go this year, have little intention of keeping it thanks to LH status and the fact I redeemed my BD miles down to about 4000.

My father just earned BD Gold (lots of BD travel the poor bugger) and it appears that within BD the only benefits are.....four upgrade vouchers which seem to be pretty useless now BD has gone all modularly. Well unless you fly BD longhaul in which case you can upgrade to BD new economy...woohoo  Yeah sure Compare that to something like UA PremEx or UA 1K.

IMO one of the best things about Diamond Club was part miles, part cash  thumbsup

Unfortunately my company books me on whichever airline gives them the best deal so my miles are all spread out. Silver on DL almost elite on UAL one flight to go. Enough miles for free tix on CO, DL and UAL. Random miles on Airtran, NWA (1000 only), HP, Alaska, and AA.
Enough about flying lets talk about me!

That stinks! I bet they want you to give them a four hour window on either side of your preferred travel time as well? Fight back, it's your time away from home they are messing with. At least go when and by whom you want!

LH M&M Silver (Star Silver) 75K miles with them
No status on OW or ST.

May switch to AF Flying Blue next year (since they've started flights ex-BLR). Wish they had a status match offer (they don't in India Sad)

To give them credit on my flights home they do give me the option of booking myself but I have to stay within their price usually difficult to do on a last minute flight.

The cool thing about it is that I get to experience all kinds of airlines and make comparisons. This year I've flown on Emirates, Luftansa, Turkish, Jetblue, Independence, Delta, Continental, Expressjet, Mesa, Transtates, America West, United, BA, NWA, Alaska, ANA, Korean Air, JAL, AA, American Eagle, Aer Lingus, Gulf Air, and World Airways.

    Flying Blue: Gold

No, but you might be able to use them for a ticket on AF. IIRC you can even dip from two accounts to get enough miles for a ticket.

I have three accounts, it's terrible

Aeroplan, with about 130k miles, probably will use some on a ticket to Asia this coming year
Onepass, with 65k miles, about to add another 17k on my flight to HKG and back.
Asiamiles, not sure what I've got at this point, something along 40k I think. Yes, I know, I need to spend my miles.

Don't have elite status with anybody. Since I only fly a few longhaul a year, it doesn't do much for me even if I get elite status. I sometimes just opt for the cheapest ticket instead.

    Hello,

For me: AirFrance, Flying Blue, Silver Status with about 130K miles to spend. All that was earned almost with leisure flight to the US and Canada, and for the smaller part with the AirFrance AMEX Gold. As counter for status are reset for 2006, I will have to work hard to keep my status for 2007, but I have plenty of destination to visit in US. Let's face it: it's time to find time and money to afford it Big grin

I agree, this is an interesting thread.

Hawaiian Airlines HawaiianMiles: (Pualani Gold/Premier Club) 134000 miles
    UA Mileage Plus: 25000 miles

Most of my travel on HA has been for work and the occasional trip to LAS. I'm gonna miss Pualani Platinum for 2006 though.
