I looked at seatguru as I do many times before flights. I was hoping to hear from someone who actually sat on the plane and can provide an individual opinion.

Seat preference/selection is relative... what is your criteria in selecting a seat?

If it's a CRJ-anything, my favorite seat is on someone else's other plane. That said, for CRJ-700 as long as it's not the limited-room/recline seats, the further up front you go the better. I dislike Row 1 though, it seems as if that bulkhead steals legroom.

I love row one. It's the quietest row on the plane, however row two is nice as well. You have room under the seat in front to store things in that row, and it's still very quiet up there. If you don't like noise, I would avoid anything on, or behind the wing.

Yes it is. I'm looking for your opinion of a good seat. Why you like it. What qualities make it good.

See - this is an example of a poster describing the qualities that they like and dislike about row 1 and 2.

Good stuff. Thanks.

Welcome. Also, in all of row one, the arm rests are not moveable, and the tray table is in the arm rest. The seats are a tad tight on the space.

I'd try for row one or two.

On the 700/705/900 I avoid the window seats unless it is a short hop for the simple reason that the leg room is quite inferior to the aisle seats. Only the bit of extra space at the emergency exit row mitigates that row's window seats' shortcoming somewhat.
