Major International Carriers In Your Airport

Thu Dec 29, 2005 1:26 am

What are the major international carriers in your airport, counting pax, cargo, movements, etc?

For example :

Miami : LAN?
Heathrow: EI? KLM?
JFK : BA? AF?
ARN : AY?
GIG: AR? AA?
EZE : RG? AA?
MEX : CO?
NRT : NW?

Don't include "the home base" carrier or national airlines.

Happy Holidays!

Major carriers? Hmmmmm, well, BA is the nearest we get, and that is only BACX. Other than that, the only International carriers to serve the IOM are Aer Arran and VLM - not exactly majors.

Ah well, dream on. One day someone will open us up to some truly International routes - like Cork, Waterford, Galway etc Big grin

You have a 'truly international' route from the IOM..........to DUB! You are just being greedy Andy, wishing for more than one escape route 'abroad' off the island.  Wink

As for my patch over at LBA, in terms of flights it's KL, with a 3xdaily service to AMS with F70's/F100's. In terms of seats offered it's FR with their 738's to DUB.

Technically I am at PMR, the biggest airline (the only big airline) that operates there is NZ!!!

For non-national, major carriers, we have none here at YYJ. The only International airline we have (besides AC and WS) is QX.

In terms of the original criteria QF,EK & SQ have it beat. MH & TG aren't far behind CX
