should airbs make a jet to carry the a380 so they don't have to take it by land?
The sky is no longer the limit, but the mere minimum

You mean "carry parts to Toulose for assembly" ?
Anything that doesn´t fit into a Beluga should be considered too outsized. And there´s limit on how big in terms of diameter an airframe can be economically built and operated.

OTOH, just in case the "Cargolifter"-blimp wouldn´t have been shelved, it might have had found a rôle in transporting A380-segments ...
