Singapore Airlines - March Increases

Mon Jan 16, 2006 7:12 am

Singapore Airlines will add additional flights to these cities starting on March 26th..

Singapore - Adelaide 5 to 7 weekly Boeing 777-200
Singapore - Athens 2 to 3 weekly Boeing 777-200
Singapore - Guangzhou 7 to 10 weekly Boeing 777-200
Singapore - Ho Chi Minh City 12 to 13 weekly Boeing 777-200
Singapore - Hong Kong 35 to 38 weekly Boeing 777-200 and 747-400
Singapore - Penang 8 to 21 weekly Boeing 777-200
Singapore - Taipei 17 to 21 weekly Boeing 777-200 and 777-300

I'm suprised by the amount of capacity on Penang, jumping up from 8 to 21 weekly 772

Glad to see ADL going Daily at last

Good to here the Singapore are increasing ADL flights, but shouldn't the problems with the terminal be sorted out first before airlines add more flights?

I say this because I live in Adelaide and the airport is a fiasco.

Quoting B742 (Thread starter):
Singapore - Penang 8 to 21 weekly Boeing 777-200

Quick edit, in fact it is 18 to 21 weekly, so now on all days 3 times daily. Good for me as I am living in Penang and fly SQ frequently.

Cheers, Konstantin G.
