I'm definitely into Flight Simming, been doing it for well over 5 years now. I like to use PMDG's 737 on short European flights or short flights between hubs in the US.

Im a Flight Simmer. My most common plane would be the PMDG 737-700. I also use PSS Dash-8 alot and 777 alot. I will be getting PSS 777 soon. I not really sure what my most common flight is. I fly all over. MIA-JFK or MIA-NAS

Flight Simmr here as well and most often flying the PMDG B73NG's (700/800/900). Sure wish PMDG would build a B752. Favorite trips would be IAH-SEA, DFW-IAH, LAS-SFO and from anywhere to EGE.

Flight Simmer here, 99% use of my 744, longhaul. Once in a while I'll take a 'short' 2000 mile jaunt, but mostly 4000 plus miles for my pleasure. Simming since 1994 and got somehwere around 3,000 hours total., 1000 plus in the 744.

I have well over 100 aircraft in my Flight Sim hangar, but my favorite ones to use are the Project Opensky 747's. I regularly fly several hours every week.

I've been simming and loving it for a little over 11 years now. I started out with FS 5.0 which came out a little before FS '95. Things have come a long way since then. Discovered freeware add-ons in 2001 with FS7, and bought my first payware add-on two days ago. It's the PMDG 737NG and I have to say, what a great piece of software. Best $40 I've ever spent!  bigthumbsup

Flight simmer from about 5 years ago. I use a lot of types of aircraft but I master the 757 from Project Open Sky. And I fly almost everywhere from dream flights DEL-GIG, to ordinary flights like SFO-LAX, MTY-MEX.
It's not just the destination, it's the journey.

Ive been recording my flights (on paper Big grin) since March 2002, and have logged nearly 300 flights. Around 99% of the flights are ones in real life, and range from as short as a positioning flight from London Heathrow - London Gatwick, to as long as Air New Zealand's Los Angeles - Auckland!

Currently flying as Virgin Atlantic's service from Las Vegas - London Gatwick.

I have been a Simmer for about three years. I do a lot of AC flights within Canada with the Project Opensky AC B763.

I also like to do European flights to and from CWL, I grew up near there. I also do some transatlantic flights with the B744 or the B773 between YYZ and LHR.

Whenever I fly for real I like to do the flight myself before and after the actual trip.

I do that too, and that just reminded me that I have to sim the routes I'm flying next weekend.

I've been FSing for about three years and I have recently completed writing out my third airline's complete timetable as AI (DL; it took forever). I fly 99.9% of my flights as real-world flights. I have all the North American airline PC timetables, so I look up flights, find a good one for the time I have, and fly it. Favorite route is probably SEA-SIT on an AS 734. I flew that route in real life a while ago, was one of the best flights I ever had, and the approach at SIT is intense. I have 827.8 successful hours total as of today (and countless hours unsuccessful), and I'm just about to add some more.

I've been flight simming since my dad got MSFS for our old Mac back in the late 80s or early 90s. I have a pretty respectable setup as far as hardware and add-ons are concerned, but I probably only fly a couple hours a week...too much other stuff to do, beer to drink, etc.

I'm a flightsimmer. First flightsim I saw was "Fighter Pilot" on my best friend big brother's ZX Spectrum back in the early 80's, I was in shock ! Then I discovered MSFS Flight Simulator II on my first computer, the good old Commodore 64. I've done hours and hours of "green&blue" simming ! Then came the Amiga with another sim I don't recall the name (Maybe FA-18) it always started in the vicinity of SFO.

In the 90's I put this hobby aside and went back when I bought my first PC in 1996 with FS? (maybe95)... Now I have a pretty powerful PC and fly it from time to time as I don't have a lot of time, but when I do it, I do it very seriously (planning, fuel, routes, time, real schedule, procedures SID&STARS and so on...) but I've never applied in a VA so far.

I use to fly lots of different routes but mainly from GVA as it's my home airport and use mainly airliners (A319-A330/340-B744-MD11).

Alej

I love to fly the FS (2004 now) and I usually fly GRU-GIG with a Project Opensky AC 767-300ER with Star Alliance c/s, or CGH-SDU with a TAM A319.
These planes that I use have different sounds and cockpit, that I've downloaded from flightsim.com, an awesome website BTW.

Have any of you heard anything about the Flight Simulator X??

I fly mine several hours a week as well. Mainly consumes my weekends.

For all you users of the Project Opensky 763, do you notice what a slow response de aircraft has to turns and also when taxiing how it is virtually impossible to make sharp turns? Do you guys have a solution for this?
Other than that, I believe the aircraft are amazing in their detail and I just love how the lower deck hatches open up when you hit the command to open the doors!

I'm also a Flight Simmer with more that 500 flight recorded from Sep.2003 when I first decided to record all my sim flights.
Actually I use MSFS 2002 as the basis with plenty of expansions. Generally I do fly short/medium range and I like to plan the flight as real as possible with fuel calculation, load edit, layout configuration and all setups to "maximum real".
My favourite a/c (the ones I fly the most) are B734 and the A320 family. Sometimes I also stretch my legs on a transatlantic flight with A330/340, B772, B744, all of them in the "Professional" expansion.
I've recently finished a AMS-DTW trip with NW A330-300, nice flight!

Well, those were the days for me. When I first started (FS5.0) I could go a long time. Most of the time now is about 2 hrs a month! But I also use my flightsim time for a.net time.

The better question is if you discovered a.net while trying to find add-ons for your FS.

I've noticed that many airline pilots and other "professionals" with ego-tisctical attitudes often shun flight simulators when they've never even bothered to try one properly with add-ons or expansions, yet its the kind of thing that probably kept me off the streets doing drugs, becoming a dosser and terrorizing the neighborhood. Thanks, Microsoft!

Flying hours now are at 1342 since August and counting.

I've had various versions of MSFS for a long time (since '98 I think, but maybe '95), but I just really got into it over this winter break, when I finally learned how to land properly, use the ILS, and fly real routes thanks to FlightAware and FAA Terminal Procedure charts. My most common route has probably been MSP-PHX and back on the default 734, but recently I got FSPassengers and now fly various routes on an imaginary airline to and from MSP. My last flight was MSP-BNA and my next will be the return leg of that flight. After that, MSP-ICT. So far on these routes I've been using the Jet City 717-200 in default Boeing colors. I generally manage one or two flights a day on the weekends, and a flight every other day or so during the week. I only use real-world weather lately, which led to an interesting landing at the end of MSP-SDF about a couple of weeks ago when it was storming and I landed in a steep crosswind, and got very close to striking my left wingtip!
