Ever Changed Your Mind On A Livery Scheme?

Wed Mar 08, 2006 1:34 am

Hi everybody!

This topic came into my mind some days ago when I saw an Air Canada B763 in MXP with new colour scheme. I've used to think that AC new livery was quite boring with all that white. However, when I saw the aircraft I completely changed my opinion on it and immediately loved it.
I know it can be a little unusual, but did it ever happened the same thing to any of you?

Regards
IDISA

The new UA livery took a while for me to like. I remember not liking it at first and wishing they kept some red or orange in there, but after a little while, I began to like it and now think it looks better than their previous colors.

I think the Southwest livery looks good now, I used to hate that livery. In fact now I even like the brown color more then blue, especialy with the winglets. The new U.S airways livery looked horrible in picture but after seeing it in person I changed my mind. Still waiting for the UA colors to look good.

The current Delta scheme has grown on me and now I think it's one of the classiest colors out there. I was a big fan of the 1997 scheme due to its boldness but I have grown to love the brand recognition that the current scheme represents {DELTA} it just says it all.

The current BA livery. When it first was used on Concorde, I did not think much of it at all. However, now I think it's the best livery the aircraft has had.

At fist I didn't like much Avianca's Red livery. But ever since the new one has come and after having seen the Summa livery I think its one of the most colorful most beautiful liveries around!

I've also gotten used to the new Austrian livery

When HF came out with its blue TUI colors, I didn't like them at all. But after one season, I started loving them because they really look like holidays.

A shame that HF changed the name. Hapagfly is not the same to me as Hapag-Lloyd was.

BA World Tails. When they first appeared I thought they look like graffiti had been sprayed over the tail but gradually I started to like them and was sad to see them go when BA decided to get rid of them.

Funny enough it was TAP. I didn't like it at first but now I see it as one of the best new schemes out there.

It's cleaner, brighter and more cheerful compared to the old one.

Yes, TAP is another good example. IMO the new livery gives TAP a strong identity!

A change in my mind was this:
For me it was a rude change at first, but then... It became more and more likeable... Now I just love to turn mi eyes to Mexico City sky and see this livery...
