UA Kosher International Meals In C

Sat Apr 08, 2006 1:35 pm

What can I expect LAX-LHR in C on UA in terms of a Kosher meal?

Thanks in advance!

As far as I know, as long as you request it, you should get it, especially in C. Online, they give you an option. If you're not sure, I would recommend calling reservations and also checking in when checking-in.  Smile good luck and have a great flight.

While Airlinemeals.net doesn't show many UA kosher meals, it is a very good resource when you are looking for that kind of info

I don't know if this will be helpful, but a few years ago I flew UA in Y-class over Passover (this was when they still had meals on domestic flights). They had a fine-tasting, normal kosher meal, but it was not Kosher for Passover (it had many bread products). I don't know if that is specifically what you are interested in but you could try calling reservations and seeing if they can help you. If you're flying over passover, it would probably be worthwhile to take a little kosher food or matzah.

Quoting Aio86 (Reply 4):

United makes a special point on "kosher for Passover" on their website:

http://www.united.com/page/middlepage/0,6823,1062,00.html

"During Passover we serve only kosher for Passover meals to customers who request kosher meals."

I don't know how strict they are, but on flights from LA and NY, I would expect that they know their bread from their matzoh.  Smile
