What was your best and worst compensation after you complaint?
I booked a daytrip to London from London. To STN from Hamburg with AIR BERLIN for 20$ incl. tax (!!!!!) and back to Hamburg on Ryanair. I was than informed by Air Berlin, that they dropped the route from Hamburg. Alternative: late evening flight from Hannover to STN. I refused this offer, claiming, that my flight would arrive nearly at the same the time as my flight back to Hamburg on FR will depart!
Now listen: for my 20$ ticket, AirBerlin offered me a free rail-ticket to Hannover, an up-grade to a higher booking-class one day earlier PLUS a free accomodation in London! WOW
After a bad experience on EMIRATES, claiming they would be one of the best airlines in the world, I wrote a complaint. After several weeks of no-reply I received finally an aswer; stating: "Sorry for the circumstances (no explanations why this trouble happened!). Hope to welcome you soon on one of our flights."
So, now its your turn!
