China Eastern 1st Class Domestic - What To Expect?

Tue Apr 25, 2006 7:39 am

Hi guys I am flying on China Eastern from Shanghai to Xian and then Xian to Beijing a few days later! I will be flying first class and I am just wondering what to expect. What do I get on board and at the terminal. Do they serve food on these legs?

Thanks for any help,

AirWales.

I flew PEK-PVG on a 737-700 just last fall on MU. The seats were pretty much equivalent to anything you'd experience in a U.S. domestic First Class (around 40" pitch, adjustable headrest, etc); however, unlike in the States, you should receive some sort of a meal service. I'm still not exactly sure what I ate, but it wasn't too bad.

The service was very friendly ( la a good United flight crew), yet also very professional and prompt ( la Lufthansa).

Enjoy your flight!
