Airlines You Expect To See At Ashford

Just wondering what airlines you think would be interested in London Ashford Airport which is expected to see 2m Passengers by 2012.

The 1505m runway is going to limit the options somewhat.... perhaps there will be 2m pax p.a from Lydd (aka London Ashford) to Le Touquet by 2012...  Wink

BTW, the London Ashford Airport (LAA) logo is so similar in style and colour to BAA's, I can see BAA having something to say about it.
I don't like signatures...

Probably I could only see domestic destinations such as BHD, DUB, GLA and EDI being the most successful.

European cities such as Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam are already well covered by Eurostar, with quicker journey times when you take into account the travelling to and from both airports and the time you have to arrive before to check in.

But you also need to consider is it really worth the investment, after all nearby Manston has already bit the bullet.
