Bae 146 / Avro RJ Favourite Livery

Mon May 15, 2006 7:42 am

My first thread starter, so apologies if it's a bit banal but I had to start sometime....

Anyway, dying breed as she is, what's everyone's favourite 146 / RJ livery? Biased I most certainly am, but here's my two penneth worth....  Wink

Simple but quite nice. Job done at Quality Aircraft Paint services (QAPS) at Schiphol airport who are very nice people indeed. (And no, I don't get a discount!) Completed on ZE701 in summer 2005. ZE700 somewhat earlier.

Well, yeah, I am biased towards European airlines. But it does look nice, doesn't it?

Can't say I have a favourite, but I did like her in airBaltic's clothing.  Smile

The Queens Flight RAF BAe146 was repainted in Holland? The mind boggles. I hope the Dutch royal family's aircraft (if there's such a thing) is repainted in the UK to even things up!

Agreed, flew my first PSA 146 flight in late 1980 or 1981 from BUR to LAX. Great little airliner.
