Actually, it's kind of interesting because SEA-LAX and PDX-LAX are both huge O&D and connecting markets, but there are only two carriers on the route (UA and AS) with no LCC competition.

well i just looked and if you leave monday and get back the next monday you can fly on QX to Ontario for $116 one way. orbitz says you can fly UA, RT for like $280-ish. i didn't chack WN but im sure you could find some cheep stuff if you dont leave sunday.
