Flybe Bae 146s What Are They Like?

flying GLA-SOU on a 146 200 . i have never rode a 146 so what are they like , ive heard scary things about them!

According to Amadeus.net, Flybe is serving the route with DHC 8-Q400.

I looked up BAA glasgow timetable and it states my flight as a 146-200 ?

I had to position BHD-BHX in one last year, my first (& only) 4 engined jet so I may be biased.

They were quite nice inside, 3x2 leather seating, the roof does come down a few inches in the middle of the cabin (where the wing area is), the overheads are small (but I believe that is a BAE/Avro thing) so I doub't you could get anything bigger than a briefcase in there, (The lockers are smaller than those on a Dash 8 Q-300).

Noise wise they were fairly quiet (especially considering I was sat just aft of the engines).

I don't think they are scary, just they all have had reports of fumes over the past few years.

ive heard that they make really weird noises !!! 1hr 30 mins flight time to SOU is long same as dash 8
