Pan Am Vs TWA

Tue Jun 13, 2006 1:54 am

Hello Everybody! Big grin

I wanted to start a debate on witch one of the US greatest airline was your favorite. Mine was Pan Am, I believe 747 just looked powerful more than any other airline 747 except Flying Tiger. Also Pan Am was the first airline to fly around the world. Pan Am with Boeing help has also lunched the biggest land base airliners for there era, for example the B 307, B 377, B 707 and the 747. I
Like Trans World Also, but who can beat Pan Am !  bigthumbsup   bigthumbsup   bigthumbsup   bigthumbsup

It's like being asked to choose which was better - Lincoln or Cadillac.

Not possible to say for sure.

TWA's in-flight service in the 1970's was second to none - at age 8 in 1974, I remember menus, white gloves, and china being served with dinner when flying MCI-LAX.

Style-wise, I love the look of Pan Am - simple, elegant, and instantly recognizeable. But TWA's red was also eye-catching...

Dang, I can't choose!!
