Predict Your Place In Aviation History!

Fri Jun 30, 2006 2:26 am

In a lot of threads in this forum and others, middle-aged farts like me get to wax on about having flown in the Pub on Continental, sat in the Piano Bar on American, had a special place to spot from that's no longer there, or waited for your flight in the famous Ambassador's Club at JFK, etc. You know who we are. It seemed like it would never end until it was gone, and we're only now getting around to putting the notch in our bedposts.

But now you whippersnappers, or whippershappers-at-heart, it's your time!

Which modern-day flights or aviation experiences will you wax on about the day you wake up one morning, look in the mirror and ask yourself, "how did I get a hair there?"

So come on, toot your own horns! What have you done in the past couple of years that others might drool over 30 years hence?

Thousands of people have "been there, done that", but my first mile high club experience on a red-eye, returning from a Mexican vacation.

Been spotting on the Fed Ex Hill at YYZ? Who knows, 30 years in the future they might have an even better spot.

Being able to visit the cockpit during flight before 9/11.
